In 1987 some 20 years after D Company LI (Volunteers) was formed, some
ex-members of the Company organised a reunion dinner.
Over 90% of the original Company attended.
'THE FAITHFUL' INKERMAN DINNER CLUB was born.
A
committee
was formed to organise an annual reunion dinner on INKERMAN DAY, 5th
November, or the nearest Saturday evening to that date.
Later, it was decided to open membership to
those who had served in the Light Infantry.
